Kurt & Kristy, a preview

This wedding was my favorite next to my own.  :)

The bride, my friend, Kristy, perfected each little detail.  The outdoor location was a photographer's dream!!!!!   I can't wait to complete all her pics (I have quite the lot of them to look through...yikes!).  These are just a taste of the style and look of her wedding....it was THE sweetest wedding. My husband, who came along with my daughter, agreed. And my daughter....oh, she LOVED the cake.  She said it was worth the cake!  Words from a nine year old! LOL!

i think hats are promises...

that God has us covered. whether or not we wear one.   it's quite a symbol.  for every day, for fancy going out days, for bad days, for good days...for rainy days and days of sunshine.   for just because times. for hard times.  for times of blessings.   let God's promise that He cares for us never cease to be known in our hearts!

Sarah Sundin delivers "With Every Letter"

Lt. Mellie Blake is a nurse serving in the 802nd Medical Squadron, Air Evacuation, Transport. As part of a morale building program, she reluctantly enters into an anonymous correspondence with Lt. Tom MacGilliver, an officer in the 908th Engineer Aviation Battalion in North Africa. As their letters crisscross the Atlantic, Tom and Mellie develop a unique friendship despite not knowing the other's true identity. When both are transferred to Algeria, the two are poised to meet face to face for the first time. Will they overcome their fears and reveal who they are, or will their future be held hostage to their past? And can they learn to trust God and embrace the gift of love he offers them?
I enjoyed this precious love story. Sarah Sundin is one of my favorite authors, and this newest work of hers takes on World War II with a fresh look.  The setting is irresistible for me, and the characters are endearing.  The heroine struggles with her own identity and being comfortable with herself, while her "penpal" is own his own journey.  How they cross paths and grow in faith as well is simply delightful.    With Every Letter promises a love story that is unique and well-told.   I could not put this one down!

Thank you to Baker Publishing of Revell for the free review copy in return for my honest review!
